About Me:

I'm originally from Salem, a very small town in upstate NY. I received my BS in the biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and my veterinary degree from Cornell University. After vet school, I completed a one year internship at an emergency, critical care, and referral center in Rhode Island. Prior to starting my own veterinary service, I was working full time as a general practitioner in the Boston area.

In my free time, I love to hike, travel, read, bike, spend time with my husband and our pets, and spend time with our huge extended family (mostly in upstate NY). As newlyweds, we lived in the Central Square region of Cambridge and now have a house in Arlington Heights.

In the small rural town where I grew up, the local vet that I worked with throughout high school and college knew most of her clients and patients personally. I grew to admire the important role that she played in her client's lives and looked forward to being able to provide the same level of personalized care to my patients. As a house call veterinarian, I am able to interact with people and their pets in a more casual, laid back setting while still providing high quality veterinary care.
